This is how a typical property settlement runs. We can take the whole path — or just the parts you need help with.
Assignment received
We take the assignment from the agent, lawyer or owner and clarify roles, deadlines and who receives what.
Contract and settlement agreement
Contracts and settlement agreements are drafted or quality-checked, so the settlement has a clear basis.
Payment to client account
The purchase price and costs are paid into a client account and checked against the agreement.
Security and registration
The deed and mortgage documents are sent for registration, and both parties are protected along the way.
Redemption and deletion
The seller's loan is redeemed and encumbrances that should go are deleted.
Settlement statement
The parties receive a clear overview of every item — in, out and what remains.
Payout
The net settlement is paid out to the seller and the case is archived in line with regulations.

What does settlement cost for an estate agency?
We tailor our services. After reviewing your needs — volume, segment and systems — we prepare a quote for you.
Do you handle settlements for private clients?
In individual cases, yes. Prices start from NOK 32,000 incl. VAT. Get in touch for details and terms.
Can you take just part of the settlement?
Yes. For lawyers we assist with everything from drafting contracts and settlement agreements to completing the full settlement, or just parts of the process.
We have our own settlement team. Can you be our backup?
Yes — during periods of sick leave, parental leave, holidays or particularly high volume.

Yes. Oppgjørskompetanse AS is an independent company licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet).
